Procedure for Accommodating Students with Special Dietary Needs:

  • A parent, student or guardian can report a food allergy to the school nurse.
  • The school Nurse will contact the Food Service Director - Karen Waitz
  • The Food Service Director can explain the Food Allergy & Medical Conditions policy. 
  • A meal modification plan can be put into place with a written request from a physician.

Summer Food Service Program 

The United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition division provides opportunities during the summer for families to participate in a Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). This program ensures that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. To find out more information on the Summer Food Service Program:

The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
